Willow Madison writes incredibly nuanced characters, complexities that will draw you in, compelling you to read further. I found myself wanting to rush headlong to finish the book, but also to linger, to enjoy her wordplay and eloquence of phrasings, her richness in characters and plot. It explains why, upon waking suddenly at 3 a.m., I reached for my Kindle, needing to finish it. It explains why it’s past 5 a.m. and I can’t put it down. This book grabs you by the throat and won’t let go, even through the final sentence, which you see coming and still manages to make you gasp. It clearly explains why I’ve just one clicked Book 2.
